 		This module provides a general introduction to information technology, explaining the concepts and terminology necessary for understanding current computer systems and technologies. The second part of the module familiarises the student with the basic traditional software development life-cycle. It investigates the issues involved in software development and introduces the basic techniques for information modelling.
