The first part of this module addresses the importance of structural approaches to data modelling in the development of databases. Business information is first modelled, requirements are identified, and specifications are developed for database solutions. The second part focuses on the utilisation of Computer Aided Design technology in property and construction to solve multidisciplinary problems. It also examines Virtual Reality as a tool to portray construction information over the project life cycle.
